This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering. To enjoy a peaceful camping experience, you can set up camp on secluded sandbars by the Wakool River. You can spend your day fishing, exploring bird-life, and bush-walking, or simply relaxing by the river. In the evenings, you can sit by your private campfire (wintertime) and enjoy the serene surroundings. Swimming and canoeing are allowed as per safety standards permitted. This campsite is suitable for self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and drinking water supply (there is access to rainwater). The property is located on the edge of the Wakool River, not too far from the NSW/VIC border and the Murray River. Pets are welcome, and you can have sandbar campfires outside of the bushfire season. Please make sure not to litter and leave the campsite how you found it. Also, be mindful of stock around the property.
