This popular annual event brings together fishing enthusiasts, families and visitors for a fun and social day in Moulamein. Anglers can compete for prizes for the longest Murray cod and longest yellowbelly, with a junior competition giving younger anglers the chance to join in the fun too.

The event is a catch-and-release competition, with the exception of carp, and supports the ongoing health of local waterways through a river restocking initiative, helping to ensure fishing can be enjoyed for generations to come.
