Beverford is located just north of Swan Hill, was founded after World War I as a soldier settlement, together with the Tyntynder and Woorinen areas

Beverford today is best known for its rich fertile soil and its grape growing, stone fruit and wine industry.

While visiting the region, make sure you have the camera on hand during the picturesque Rural District Drive which take you through this beautiful fertile landscape.  For those looking for an ’ale’ or something to eat, be sure to drop into the quaint little tavern, you will sure to be pleasantly surprised.

Just north of Beverford, is the Australian first traditional brick veneer farmhouse- the Tyntynder Homestead.  Build in 1846, the Tyntynder Homestead still stands today overlooking the Murray River.
